When a tooth is missing, that tooth can be replaced by two methods: removable and fixed. Removable denture is worn by the patient during day and has to take it out during night. Fixed type comprises of bridge and impant. Bridge consists of replacing the missing tooth by a cap which is attached to the adjacent teeth. Implant consists of screw which is drilled in the bone and left there for 3 months to fix in the bone. After that the tooth is attached to the screw.
